Somebody else wrote the first excerpt, the one with properly punctuated dependent clauses, but TFG had to be solely responsible for the “Old Crow” garble about a nonexistent infrastructure bill “wanting to be put forward by me.” Bills don’t want things, people do. For example, people want infrastructure, therefore some legislators introduced a bill to fund it.
This says that Mitch McConnell is an "old school" political psychopath, with enough sense to at least realize that improved infrastructure will make him look good in his own state. But to be a good trumper you're required to scream, "HA HA! At least ME no am vote for soshulisdt bill!" as the bridge you're standing on crashes to the ground.
If Grump had done Infrastructure it would only have been for the red states. he did not believe in giving anything to states that did not support him. He was a president only for the crazy base. Not for all republicans even.
Honestly, if you know what Old Crow is and where it comes from it’s a pretty damn clever insult. That leads me to believe that someone else made it up and gave it to TFG to use.Long story short: It’s the nasty cheap Bourbon you make yourself drink when you really hate yourself.
I live in Northern Kentucky and we have all been asking ourselves for decades, Democrats and Republicans alike…
Why, if he is such a Machiavellian genius that knows how to bring the pork home for his own constituents, has he not bothered to get the Brent Spence bridge replaced?
It seems like that should be a mere afterthought for the Sheev Palpatine of the Commonwealth.
The best explanation that I can come up with is that he plans on getting a good chuckle the day that the third busiest bridge in the nation crumbles into the Ohio River and takes a couple hundred commoners to a watery grave.
You just know that Mitch wanted that while he was majority leader. It really was Trump's failure. He blew a gimme likely because he could find no way to grift from it.
Stable genius? Is that why all his followers are so obsessed with horse deworming paste?
Welcome to Durham. :-)

Angels Not Interested in those red shoes.

So out of curiosity. Did you have to run that through Babelfish, or does the Russian come naturally?
So now get rid of Moscow Mitch.
Paging Henry Kissinger on the black courtesy phone...
They get fluffy.
Long term Republicans never shut up about how feckless the government they've been working in for years is.

Ta, Stephen.
A turtle can only hold its breath for so long.
