People don't realize that even if they don't privatize Medicare immediately, it will be damaged by Trump's promise to repeal the ACA, which fixed loopholes (Part D) and extended the program's viability by a decade or more. Lawmakers will make sure that it only affects people who are not yet eligible for Medicare. The current Olds will be protected (but please know that we Olds have always wanted our children/next generation to enjoy the same benefits). Fight on.
