The "other side" is not on trial here asshole -- YOU are

‘Rabid badgers in the soundproof booth’

“I will feed your fingertips to the wolverine!” Same thing.

When you think that all of this could have been avoided , had only the Yam written Stormy a personal check and been done with it. But nooooo! He’s too cheap and never spends any of his own money when he can spend someone else’s. In this case, he spent campaign money and covered it up.

Tsk,tsk, Donnie.

Hush money is legal. A hush money trial would be nonsense. It's got more in common with fraud.

JCfromNC's avatar

Well, it's a good thing the trial is about fraud and illegal campaign payments, then, and not hush money payments.

Maybe we should test to see if Trump is a witch or not. If he sinks, he's not a witch, but we should be sure.

“Has disgraced attorney and felon Michael Cohen been prosecuted for LYING?”

The beauty of this statement is his devotees will not realize Cohen was Trump’s attorney and paying off Stormy Daniels for Trump is why he’s a felon.

A man who really knows his audience.

Coming late to this, somebody else may have pointed this out...

...Crooked Joe Biden’s henchmen “Rigging the System” against his Political Opponent, ME!...

I love that by putting that phrase in quotes it effectively becomes a sort of euphemism that does not mean what he wants

Birb-General of the US's avatar

As a matter of fact, Michael Cohen 𝘸𝘢𝘴 prosecuted for lying. Yes.

I hate how the MSM reports on PAB's legal problems, they start off with who is charging him with what and finish with how he feels about it. They place those 2 beside each other with no context. I'm used to "who denies the charges" but they give this M'fer a platform every time they say his name. Sure he denies everything, most crooks do, but do you have to trot out every lame defense and imaginary counter charge from proven liars? ***Local news gal states factually that he'll be free to travel and campaign even if found guilty during his appeal***WTAF

I must say that while you are right, somebody who was a guest on MSNBC asked why the judge has not prevented Trump from leaving the courtroom and talking to the press, and essentially to his supporters.

Couldn't the judge extend the gag order to the outside of the courthouse, which I assume is still NY County or NY State property?

You Should Ice That Burn's avatar

Gag orders aren't specific to geographic locales as far as I know. He isn't barred from talking to his supporters or anybody else except for very specific instances. I think topics and witnesses are all that a judge can shield, but IANAL

"Does … does he not know this is a criminal trial"

Who knows what he thinks, or if he thinks? At this point, I think the inside of his head is like the Simpsons gif with the toy monkey.

People really need to read his unedited comments about the Gettysburg battle. Incoherent, pro-confederacy. Calling war "beautiful." This is a man who needs to be kept as far away from power as possible.

What day and venue? or a linky? ****EDIT****Found it, Schnecksville PA, oh yeah, Grampy is sunsetting.

I'm sick of all the media calling him the "Presumptive" Republican Nominee which sounds too much like the "presumption president" Just call him the Republican presidential candidate, which he is.

Wookiee Monster's avatar

I wish someone would gag him. Or at least tape oven mits over his hands so he can't tweet or truth or whatever the fuck it's called on his janky twitter knockoff.

Great name for a minor league baseball team, the Rabid Badgers. From Sheboygan, Wisconsin, I believe. The Rabid Badgers’ bandy-legged batboy is named Basil. Not Rathbone, the other one.

I just ran into Trumpy Neighbor. She always likes to hear good news about Trump, so I told her that Judge Merchan ruled against the Access Hollywood tape being played. So I told her this would help him. She didn't know what it was. I was surprised, so I told her. And I told her he said "I just grab them by the pussy." She had never heard that before.

Do they not talk about ANYTHING on Fox News??

It didn't seem to bother her that he said that. She was more mad at Judge Merchan because he "won't let" Trump attend Barron's HS graduation. Questionable as to whether he'd actually go or not.

bt890's avatar

He didn't say he couldn't go. He said if the trial was on track, Trump could go. But right after the judge said that, Trump left the courtroom and told the reporters the judge said no.

Tessie's avatar

Of course, if it had gone the other way, Stinky would have whined about, "I wasn't allowed to be present AT MY OWN TRIAL!!"

`

Also, I'm honestly quite surprised that Barron goes to an actual school, instead of having a private tutor.

Vic's avatar

More likely Tiny Hands is upset that Barron has surpassed him in education and intellectual capacity.

Hippo Heaven's avatar

And what's funny is, I said "Who knows if Trump would actually attend?" And she said, "Well, he SAID he would." As if THAT'S definitive. When he lies, she excuses him, but when it's something positive, she believes him. When he says something horrible, she claims "he doesn't mean it."

bt890's avatar

Victims of abusers tend to excuse their behavior a lot. And tend to gravitate to other abusers. I think that's why he has a huge base of supporters with evangelical voters, they tend to be more likely to be abused and primed to be victims.

My current prediction is his lawyers will move for a Bad Court Thingy on the grounds of it being impossible to seat an impartial jury
