It tickles me that these folks all laud PAB's 'enormous' wealth...but panhandle to help him pay his legal fees.

I wonder what percentage of their scam ever makes it to PAB's coffers.

I'm sure New Yorkers couldn't care less if a few trashy Trump terrorist truckers don't make deliveries.

Props for mentioning that the Cardones are in the clutches of the criminal organisation known as the "church" of $cientology. They are definitely grifters. in addition to arguably being the victims of a mind-fuck.

Oh, and the Cardones are definitely selective about which cult gets their money. To the Co$, they have donated not less than $15 million. https://tonyortega.org/2023/12/24/here-they-are-the-wealthy-whales-keeping-scientology-afloat-into-2024/

My husband is a retired truck driver and he would have loved to be able to refuse deliveries to NYC because it was a pain in the ass to drive a truck into the city. However he would have been fired because you aren’t allowed to refuse loads. At least company drivers can’t.

What many people don’t realize is that a great many truckers already refuse to deliver to NYC for logistical reasons. NYC is a nightmare for moving large tractor trailers around in and the stress and headaches aren’t worth it for many.

It’s for that reason that truckers already get paid extra to deliver there.

I wonder how many of these trvmp truckers actually delivered there before. This all smacks of poorly acted political theater hoping to scare those unaware of industry practices currently in place.

Ho hum.

Most truckers are hired by big corporations who will gladly fire them for this kind of bullshit, unless they are Teamsters. Who, btw, will happily deliver goods to that hive of Union workers.

So, let’s think of a hypothetical which may resonate. Billy-Bob’s neighbor Cletus lies that the ‘baccy field between their properties is his. He then goes to the bank, gets a loan against it, and uses the money to buy a moonshine still. With the profits from his moonshine, he pays back the bank, and then acknowledges that the land belongs to Billy-Bob. Billy-Bob has his land, the bank has its money, and Cletus has a million-dollar moonshine business. Who is harmed?

I had heard that gofundme had shut that account down. Sadly mistaken! And it's picked up another $100K since this article posted!

I went to GoFundMe and registered a complaint for violations of Terms Of Service:

8. User Content that reflects, incites or promotes behavior that we deem, in our sole discretion, to be an abuse of power or in support of terrorism, hate, violence, harassment, bullying, discrimination, terrorist financing or intolerance of any kind reflects an abuse of power relating to race, ethnicity, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression, disabilities or diseases;

9. the legal defense of alleged financial and violent crimes;

Will they do anything? I don't know, but we can let them know how we feel.

That's not enough for ONE WEEK of interest. About 3.5 days. Give or take.

Plus they set the GFM at the full amount, so if it doesn't raise the full amount in the time frame on the fundraiser, which it won't, the thing just poofs. It's beyond fucking pointless. Also, stealing from Our Liz this morning on Law and Chaos, I guess the deal now is I can speed, and if I don't cause an accident it doesn't count and you can't give me a ticket.

Shouldn't these idiots be boycotting the whole state? It's a state court, not a city court.

TRUCKERS FOR TRUMP, a play in one act

Company: Okay, take this delivery to New York.

Trucker for Trump: Hell no! I’m boycotting New York City because they were mean to my Lord and Master!

Company: Are you refusing to work? I can fire you and get another CDL driver to take this load before lunchtime.

TFT: On second thought, I guess I will.

Company: I thought that’s what you’d say. After all Republicans made this a Right To Work state so I can fire you any time for any reason.

TFT: Dammit, Biden, you tricked me again!

Trump's go fund me is against go fund me's terms of service! Everyone should take 5 minutes to go and file a complaint against it. It's super easy. Go to the main page, search Trump, find his page, scroll to the very bottom and you will see a flag that says report

About that fundraiser. I'm not an accountant, but there's a calculator on my phone. I figured out that they would have to raise more than $100,000 per day just to keep up with the interest that is accruing at 9% on Trump's fine.

Any amount of help is too much help for this asshole. Go tell at go fund me for a few minutes and let them know that his fundraiser is a violation of their own terms of service. They're not supposed to raise funds for those who are accused of felonies or violent crimes.
