The real reason that Fucker was canned has to do with the current negotiations that are ongoing between Fox and the 5 largest cable TV providers over carriage fees. If you have a cable subscription, you pay $2.18/mo. to Fox 'News'. EVERY subscriber pays this even though only ~10-14% of cable customers actually watch Fox. Fox is trying to up their carriage fee to over $3.00 per subscriber per month. An increase of rough 50% is UNHEARD OF in the cable business. They are also trying to extend the term until 2027-29, which means it is Rupert's last stand. Carriage fees is where Fox makes most of their money, not ads. That's why attacking the advertising only goes so far with them. If people want to see a true change at Fox, write your cable companies NOW & let them know you'll cancel your service if they increase Fox's fees, which are already too high. Fucker's firing has to have a return on investment for Fox. There is no other way for that to happen outside of the current, ongoing negotiations. Remember Rupert's words, "Fox isn't about Red or Blue, it's about Green."
"Unless we're totally reading this wrong and the part that freaked out Fox was the part where Tucker was openly grappling with the idea that an "antifa" was a human being."This.
Hm, the kid was a normal black kid in street clothes. When he fought back, the thirty fascists who attacked him ran and cried to the police, which is hilarious, but does seem to make some people pretty shaky as a response to fascism. :)
He wasn't in a "uniform", which obviously antifascists don't have even if he was one, as theyre not a hierarchical group, and he was specifically fighting back against a well known fascist group that wears shirts reading "Right Wing Death Squad" and "6 Million Were Not Enough", and very explicitly do wear uniforms.
Occasionally I'm on a highway that says, "tune to [AM frequency] for current road conditions". So it is used occasionally for things other than spittle-flecked rants by drooling Rush wannabes. But not much. I certainly can't remember the last time I tuned to an AM station.
This part is news to me.
electric-vehicle technology causes interference with AM station signals
First time I've heard that. But googling "EV interference AM radio" turns up plenty of discussion.
Does anyone listen to radio anywhere but cars? If I want to hear broadcast radio at home, I use a website. I couldn't tell you where to find a functioning radio in my house. Which is admittedly a potential issue in the event of tornadoes or nuclear attack.
There is no cause of action when he says overtly racist things on his show, but when he imperils a huge case outcome he is a problem.
However, nothing he did in the past or Fox's acceptance of it is vitiated by his firing. The firing was to prevent an out-of-control individual from sparking new cases.
It’s weird that Tucker doesn’t want to see Antifa folks killed, because he seems to go out of his way to tell his elderly viewers that EVERYONE is coming to git ‘em.
Or maybe the Antifa guy was white and obviously straight and this, not deserving of such violence. But if it had been a Black drag queen…
Well sure, he's never heard her make noises like that before.
more or less

Murdoch testified on oath that he did in fact watch Fox news

Why is he even featured on this or any other website?

The Proud Boys that attacked him were thirty deep. They ran crying. :)

Are we gelding Tucker? It would probably be a service to the world.
He noticed he was becoming something he didn’t like, but didn’t change one bit.
I have a clock radio.
Again - this is about being a litigation risk.
