Don't go there. There's stuff that can get you high without getting you stupid.

"Compartmentalizing" is thought highly of in Management Circles. It's when you fake that you're- the- only- person- I'm-listening to Look, and hoping that it reads as charisma.

It doesn't. Also, they are thinking about lunch.

My old man had a PhD in psychology, but he didn't wanna be called "Dr" because he wasn't a real Doctor, but on the other hand, he wasn't a "Mr." because he had a PhD, and oh FFS, Dad give it a fucken rest!!! (He's been gone for 22 years now, so no harm, no foul, etc...)

I think that means the discomfort you get when you *can't* believe two mutually exclusive things at the same time, and have to choose which one to jettison.

Just don’t! Labradors are adorable, even when confuzzled. Shitstain Carlson just looks like a slack-jawed head-injury victim, with some sort of fruit-fly-level cognitive capability.

I am still wondering what is wrong with credentials and meritocracyI meanWe should laud people who put in the work, and deserve it, shouldn't we?

Tucker can't disappear like a fart in the wind fast enough. Yeah, Murdoch, you brought this on yourself. Just wait till the other lawsuits follow. Be a shame if Tuck gets away without losing a thing, though.

Guess we now know another couple of "journalists" who are on Putin's payroll, hmm?

I do remember watching Tucker once with my brother, and he’s on this monologue about corporate elites and their class war against his viewers, and for a brief second I thought, this guy is a bigger Marxist than I was in college, WTF?

But then he brought it back around to race paranoia and fear of the Other, and I was like, never mind, he is who I knew him to be…

Right? It used to be the *right* was obsessed with "meritocracy".... i.e. against affirmative action ....

But now that women and minorities are surpassing white men in credentials and achievements and merit, now, all of a sudden, the RWNJs are too cool for school. 🙄
