My old man had a PhD in psychology, but he didn't wanna be called "Dr" because he wasn't a real Doctor, but on the other hand, he wasn't a "Mr." because he had a PhD, and oh FFS, Dad give it a fucken rest!!! (He's been gone for 22 years now, so no harm, no foul, etc...)

I do remember watching Tucker once with my brother, and he’s on this monologue about corporate elites and their class war against his viewers, and for a brief second I thought, this guy is a bigger Marxist than I was in college, WTF?

But then he brought it back around to race paranoia and fear of the Other, and I was like, never mind, he is who I knew him to be…

Right? It used to be the *right* was obsessed with "meritocracy".... i.e. against affirmative action ....

But now that women and minorities are surpassing white men in credentials and achievements and merit, now, all of a sudden, the RWNJs are too cool for school. 🙄
