The November jobs report states employers added 178,000 workers, dropping the unemployment rate down to 4.6 percent, and setting the stage for the Federal Reserve to nudge interest rates upwards. If you're keeping score, it's Obama 900, Trump .001.
I have it on the highest authority -- an old dude in an NRA hat in a shithole cafe in a teensy little town in Idaho -- that unemployment is down because "they" are scared of Trump.
if we're paying for college with our tax dollars, what do they spend the 40k a year tuition bill on? maybe they just use tax dollars to pay for the radicalism classes but your tuition bill just funds the college republicans
I worked at a public university for 12 years. They spent a lot on salaries, technology, furniture, facilities, parking garages, dorms, landscaping, maintenance, etc., but mostly salaries and benefits.
New President of Univ of Missouri will get $530,000/yr. Plus a free mansion, swimming pool, cars, tennis court, golf club membership, moving expenses, etc. He will also get a performance bonus.http://www.columbiatribune....
At my first university job in 1983, the job required a master's degree and paid $15,000. At the same time they were advertising for Director of Campus Athletics, which required a high school diploma and paid $40,000/yr.
my mom was an adjunct art prof at colorado state where they paid her in peanuts and exposure dollars, this year they just spent 238 million on a new football stadium. I would rather they spent that money on jihad classes
Anyone else getting a popup redirect every time they click on a link here at Wonkette? Has my computer picked up some nice virus, or has my subscription gone all hinkey, again?
I feel your pain. One year when the budget was bad all our non-teaching staff were told they weren't getting any raise because they were "non-essential" - the same year they spent 20 million on a new student commons, where a lot of us "non-essential" people got to work. The windows in this beautiful new Commons didn't open, and within days everyone got sick from the toxic chemicals in the carpet pads, then the AC broke and we couldn't open the windows and it was 118 degrees inside and people fainted, but they wouldn't let us go home because we were so "non-essential" that they couldn't do without us.
He can campaign all he wants but it will never take away that hollow feeling that daddy thought he was a screw-up.

Humm, I'm guessing once DT gets into office a couple things are gonna happen:
1. All good economic news will be because Obama is gone2. All bad economic news will be because Obama did it
I changed the channel off of television news during W's administration and haven't changed it back yet.
That makes sense! /s
I think it was a pickle.
