It’s been a banner week for Florida Man, that marvelous, mystical creature that haunts our waking dreams and provides us with an endless supply of hilarity and rage. Let’s dive right in! We’ll begin with what is obviously the most important story not just of Florida this past week, but of the entire world in our lifetimes: We are not alone, and a
Isn't the whole point of pension funds that you invest them in profitable markets so that you can, you know, give people a pension? Unless there's reason to believe this porn company was too risky an investment financially, this seems like an eminently reasonable thing to do.
Today in Florida healthcare news....Gov Batboy sent around a letter saying that the hospitals in the state who make whole bunches of money should give some of it to the poor hospitals, so no one needs the Medicaid expansion and Federal funds that are not going to be forthcoming because he and the lege are dicks. In concept, at least, I am in favor of anything that involves the fair distribution of wealth. Our rich hospitals - for-profit and NFP alike - frequently ARE rich because the poor hospitals treat the uninsured, which keeps them away from the pristine halls of the rich hospitals. I have long believed that this is wrong on so many levels, not the least of which being that it creates yet another chasm between the have-everythings and the have-nothings. Hospital administrators (the rich ones) here are already yelping "Socialism!!!!!11111!!!" and I doubt that Icky Ricky's idea will get much traction. But it pits wealthy GOP-voting hospital execs and docs against the Teabaggers, which is always fun to watch.
I worked for Movie Gallery for about 15 minutes back in the last decade. The "porn" that we had on the shelves consisted of movies like Clerks and Dogma (from that notorious smut-peddler Kevin Smith) and some Jamie Foxx flicks that contained a bunch of bad language. That was pretty much the extent of it.
I thought that first picture was a purple cow. Sure, I wondered how she could drive a car with hooves and all, but it still made more sense than a reptilian alien. Only slightly OT, am I missing something by not trying Molly?
As a fan of the sportsball, I'm still baffled by Winston going first overall. Absolutely toxic off the field. Is that really the guy you want as the face of your franchise? Yuck.
Even if you're able to hold your nose and overlook what a scuzzball he is, the guy was an INT-machine last year, pro-ready or not. Again, baffling pick.
As much as I wanted, and enjoyed, Johnny Football's failures on the field, I really, REALLY want Winston to fall hard. Tough to root for a piece of shit.
A motorist in Florida believes he captured the images of a “reptilian alien” who he says was driving a vehicle ahead of him. It's the Silurians!
Two words - Tampa Bay.

I wonder what Tom Brady has to say about Jameis Winston?
They sure have evolved since the 70s.
Which one of these is the alien?

The one with the pigtails, of course.
She was the only one that seemed dangerous at the time.

The truth is out there.
Trust no one.
This is still my favorite Florida license plate. Humbly submitted:

They are going to have to change the state motto from "God's Waiting Room" to "God's Lunatic Asylum".
