Oh my fuck. That’s it. That’s his plan. He wants to be a real-life Lex Luthor. He wants to control the world, because he thinks he should. Life is not a graphic novel. Let’s all hope that he simply fades from view one day, soon; then, he’ll be a “remember THAT guy?” guy.
I was kicked off years ago for 3 of the most innocuous posts you've ever read. I didn't threaten or harass anyone, so it must have been my right wing ideology. It was right around the 2020 election. I wouldn't post there now if they offered to pay me.
Miscategorizing the threat is exactly the danger when you attribute political goals to personal psychological foibles. That crazy clown Hitler! my grandparents said.
Also, Trump did, in fact, hold power long enough to do a staggering amount of damage to the body politic of this country - more and deeper in 4 years than any prior effort to undermine democracy. We don't know yet if we will be able to repair the damage or not.
Matt Walsh doesn't realize that getting Elno even more personally identified with bigoted anti-trans trash isn't going to do Twitter any good, nor any of the businesses he's associated with either. Most Americans have zero problem with the LGBTQ community and getting visibility as a professional asshole isn't a "win", it's actually a mark of shame.
It may be that low latency is important, I'm guessing that the Ukrainians are running some important feeds to command thorough Starlink and may be using it for some control operations as well.
I think the Pentagon has some stipulations in that contract that state "keep your hands off of what they choose to use it for, and no more of your bullshit about not choosing sides etc."
I'm technologically challenged, but I love Wonkette and support it. I've used Twitter as a source of breaking news, and some long form journalism links, for a few years, but I'm deleting my account. My question: what is another easily accessible source for a lot of the things Twitter used to be essential for?
Naw, the latency advantages really aren't worth the cost compared to alternatives. Bandwidth could be, but still, it's doubtful. Pentagon is probably figuring out that Starlink is oversold, like every other goddamn thing Elon is involved with.
Can we somehow get the media to stop taking Elon at his word that he’s a “free speech absolutist?” It’s clear now that he’s only interested in promoting speech he agrees with.
I actually have a "presence" on Twitter, but I haven't spent any time on the site. At all. From what I've been reading lately, it seems like Musk has torn Twittah into tiny pieces and buried it 6 feet under. Is this some kind of capitalist triumph? Cuz it seems like kinda not.
anyone so benighted as to not want you in their club is a worthless shitbird, undeserving of your attention. Personally, you can have no idea how pleased and grateful I would be if you were my older sister, rather than the horrible, manipulative MAGAT monster who claims that spot now. Viva V&P! and may your shadow ever lengthen.
In the beginning I asked Twitter to tell me what I had done to be kicked off. Two years later they had some link to 3 very innocuous posts, and I vowed I would never post there again. I've kept that promise, and now that Musk owns it, if they offered to pay me I wouldn't post there.
That's so nice of you to say that you wish I was your older sister. I wish I was your older sister too! My brother and mother are both Republicans, but at least my mother isn't a MAGAt, and I rarely see my brother, so I have no clue if he voted for Trump or not. I literally want to scream at MAGAts "would you just SHUT UP"???? I can't stand listening to them, and I hope your sister sees the light some day. Sigh...the MAGAt mind virus.

Oh I wish he had asked me...
"Well, Matt was it? If you shave, put on some lipstick and pluck those eyebrows, that might be a good start!"
OR, counterpoint, maaaaaybe lay off the ritalin for a bit....

I'd say go for it if they even look sideways at them.

If you delete your account, someone can then impersonate you - just let it go fallow (er, or not)
