We will lure the entire country of Iran to our embassy in Turkey. The Saudis will help us clean up the mess.

The Saudis invaded Yemen and started this war. Now they want the U.S. to bail them out of their quagmire. Nobody's buying another pack of lies to start another war. Especially not a pack o' lies coming out of Pompeo's piehole.

Let's see if I can smooth out my thoughts while under the influence, but still are rooted in the reality of ME situation today:--I know it doesn't come up in the general thought process of 99.5% of Americans, but there is No actual part of the Islamic Republic of Iran which is northwest of any part of Saudi Arabia. --we have sold the Saudis the most advanced military equipment we could provide, and yet they are still incompetent at every effort to defend themselves. Ya know why? They can't find anyone they can trust to train how to use these systems, b/c they are afraid of militant Islamists using the stuff against the government. On equipment alone, they should've been able to force Saddam into a retrenchment in Kuwait in 1990.--the "planning that went on to avoid radar detection" is the most damning accusation. Obviously there are people who don't know, or don't care, how to use sophisticated surveillance radar equipment in the most basic ways.

The Saudis are too lazy, and too insecure to put their own citizens out to defend themselves. We should give them the friendly hand wave and say, "have fun storming the castle."

I served from 1976 to 1979 and it most certainly was a military term back then and it had nothing to do with oil.
