I called the power company to find out what was going on and while they were aware of the outage the very pleasant and helpful individual I spoke to told me that they didn't know what was causing it.
I hope like hell it doesn't happen again. I've already had to restart/reboot the computer and reset clocks twice thus far today and I don't want to do it again.
