Feinstein is long past due retirement. Like Hillary, et al., she is not a progressive and must go. Boxer is better and would much rather have seen her stay and Feinstein go. Also, the above survey needs a 5th answer option: "not very-the rigging of primaries against popular insurgents is possible."

YES, Sen. Feinstein should go. She has become and endless bag of wind. Progressives are progressively getting worse. More detrimental to a unified, respectful way of going about life. They have become corrupt and have, after eight years, corrupted our constitution and government bring chaos to our streets, hatred toward differing opinions leaving us uncivilized and non caring toward each other. This is hopeful for us? Even this little tart and her vulgar hateful writing. Yuk.

I have not read Kim Stanley Robinson's The Gold Coast in decades, but when he reaches the part about the destruction of the orange groves... I still get a sort of chill down my spine.

Yeah, but Los Angeles owns all sorts of water rights. Stole it fair and square.

If my co-worker in water policy were here she'd say these things (and others, too.) Ag has to use less water. Cow milk takes more water than almond milk. (Don't forget that California is a big dairy state. It's the Cheese. Whoops, I just mindlessly quoted a commercial tag line. Oh well.)

And yes, Californians get to bitch about it, but if you are from some other state, can we come tell you what a mistake your senators are?

If you hate Dianne, what is your alternative? That's exactly what everyone here is proposing. We Californians should have elected someone else, and that was our choice the last time around.

She just might be. I haven't had anyone die with his head in my lap, so maybe I'm not an expert on that. You?

My point, and I regret that it wasn't clearer, was that you would have better alternatives if the California Democratic Party tolerated challenges to its leadership. The California Dems do not tolerate challenges and therefore the only challengers are fringe figures with zero credibility
