"Theirs is not a strong, self-assured, calm faith, and despite what they preach, it’s not about a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. It’s a weak, needy performative display that requires everybody else to clap for it, to admire it, to show it deference, and to agree that it’s superior to all others."

It is also a requirement of their faith that every single person acknowledge that Jesus Christ looks exactly like Chris Hemsworth and nothing at all like the much more likely Yassr Arafat.

In addition to the fact that they are howling against ludicrous nonsense that no one rational cares about, I would be remiss if I didn’t stress, again, some more, the following: a) the founders believed in separation of church and state, like a lot, like it was their thing, you could even say they were religious about it; b) Easter is not an American holiday, (see (a)); and c) re: the first two things, there are actual Americans, who exist, for real, not in some fevered imagination who are ::NOT CHRISTIAN:: and therefore do not care what the fuck other observances might coincide with their big day, observances, btw, that Biden himself did not actually create, but merely respects, like a human.

It will never cease to amaze me that these dumbass, hypocritical, performative whinging pieces of shit are literally worshipping an orange, child-sacrificing Moloch while an actual devout Christian does his normal President thing and have the audacity to claim the latter is like the literal anti-Christ. They are so far around the bend it defies human reason at this point.

Not to mention they are clearly so thirsty, and so insecure in their devotion that they have to shove it down everyone else’s throats. If it were really all that great, you wouldn’t have to be so annoying and pushy about it. Jeez. Have some dignity for fuck’s sake. Your crisis of faith does not constitute an emergency on my part.
