Tips for utilizing free trials:

1. Set a calendar to remind you two days before the trial ends to cancel it. I do this and have never been charged for the regular price because I cancel on time. I use my google calendar which emails me a reminder. I have saved hundreds of dollars this way.

2. Some services let you turn off "automatic renewals" and still use the trial to the end.

3. If money is tight these are great and it isn't that hard to cancel, usually just one click. You just need a reminder to do it.
