You'll also not notice what's missing from that ballot because of Republican lege fuckery.

For years, the NC ballot began with a box offering a time-saving "straight ticket" option: Fill in just one bubble and vote for all the candidates of your preferred party.

Repubs were convinced that this rather (traditional) and minor shenanigan had kept the swampwater Democratic hegemony in the corner offices of the Legislative Building and constitutional department buildings for years. So they dumped it.

But now, their low-information voters have scribble in bubbles all the way down The Longest Ballot in America®. A shocking number never make it to the end. No wonder we have highly contest and controversial votes for Soil & Water Conservation District Commissioner around here.

It is quite reasonable for the Repubs to be worried about Trump's ballot of position. Bullet-balloters, who show up only to vote for president will have to get out their specs and hunt for Trump's name, even if is in alphabetical order. Conversely, every fine older lady in North Carolina jazzed about voting for VP Harris will immediately see their choice and zap — fill in the first bubble.

In a particularly close election, ballot position could swing it. Probably not in Trump's case. But it doesn't help him.

They're always fighting the last war with these things.
